God is The Center

God is the center, the source of our identity, direction, and understanding. When everything begins with God, we do not have to approach life from fear, certainty, or the need to control every outcome. We can remain grounded even when we are still learning.

Curiosity is the posture we carry from that center.

Curiosity allows us to meet people, ideas, and unfamiliar experiences with openness. It replaces immediate judgment with thoughtful questions. It invites us to listen before responding and to recognize that God may be revealing something beyond what we already know.

But openness does not mean accepting everything without examination. Discernment is the process.

Through prayer, wisdom, experience, and attention to the Spirit, we consider what is true, what is life-giving, and what aligns with the character of God. Discernment helps us separate revelation from distraction, conviction from fear, and genuine wisdom from assumption.

And love is the fruit.

The clearest evidence that we are centered in God is not that we always have the right answer. It is that our lives produce greater compassion, humility, courage, patience, and care for others. If our curiosity and discernment bring us closer to God, they should also make us more loving.

God grounds us. Curiosity opens us. Discernment guides us. Love reveals what the process has produced.
